David Granirer is a counselor and a stand-up comic. He performs, counsels, and teaches stand-up comedy at Langara College in Vancouver, B.C., where he has turned hundreds of people with no experience into stand-up comics. David has also taught stand-up comedy to recovering drug addicts and cancer patients, helping them build self-esteem by finding the humor in their pain. He also founded Stand Up For Mental Health, a project to teach stand-up comedy to people with mental illness. David also gives humor in the workplace presentations, helping organizations across North America use humor to decrease stress, increase wellness, and cope with change.
